Senior, Dan Miressi earned his 100th career point with an assist on Nick Watson's first period goal against Faifield HS. Miressi added another assist as Trumbull defeated the Mustangs by a score of 4-2.
Last season's leading scorer (31-17-48), Dan Miressi picked up right where he left off as Trumbull opened the the season with a 6-0 victory over Watertown. It only took the senior 36 seconds to get the Eagles on the scoreboard. Dan added three assists for a four point night.
Miressi entered the season with 89 (50-39-89) career points. His four point night against Watertown puts him only 7 points away from hitting the 100 mark.
There have only been four players to hit the milestone; Michael Hilinski '87, Brent Piepenbring '96 , Craig Sliva '97 and Anthony Chiravolo '01. Trumbull's all time leading scorer is Sliva who ended his Trumbull career with 194 points before doing a post graduate year at the Berkshire School and four years at Connecticut College.

After two months of dryland conditioning, weight training and the completion of the Stamford Fall League, the Trumbull Eagles are looking forward to the start of the 2006 - 2007 season.
The '06 - '07 Eagles will kick things off with four pre-season contests. In addition to the High School Jamboree at the rinks, Trumbull will face-off against Milford, North Branford and 2006 CIAC D2 Champion, Hand High School. The Jamboree will include THS, Greenwich, Wilton and Watertown.
The regular season schedule features eight Division 1 contests highlighted by the Trumbull / Ridgefield match-up to be played at the Harbor Yard Arena on January 24th.
The schedule will also include an additional ten "freshmen / sophomore" scrimmages. The complete schedule is available online.
SCHOOL BOARD PASSES 2006-2007 BUDGET
The Trumbull Eagles want to congratulate their five seniors as they prepare for graduation. We wish them well as they embark on a new chapter in their lives. Special congratulations go to Dan Hyde who was this season's recipient of the Power Play Club Scholarship.

The 11th seeded Eagles shocked the 3rd seeded Blue Wave with a 3-0 victory in the CIAC D1 quarter final.
Anchored behind Charlie Ogalin's outstanding play (34 saves) in net, the Eagles were able to generate some more offense than they had in the teams' first two meetings. Trumbull's physical play frustrated the talented Darien forwards, forcing turnovers and causing them to take undisciplined penalties.
Dan Miressi opened the scoring with a power play goal from James Devore and Ryan Kisken. Jordan Kennedy notched a short handed goal from Chris Hinesley and Charlie McGill. Kisken closed the door on Darien with an unassisted goal with about a minute remaining in the second period.
