The 2007 THS Alumni Game was a great success! Over thirty players returned to play in this year's event. Kevin Meehan (class of 1983) was our "most experienced" participant and Brian Chaffe ('97) travelled the farthest distance- coming all the way from California to join his Eagle teammates.
The "Black Team", made up of players graduating in odd years, beat the "Gold Team" by a score of 10-5. Dan Miressi ('07) notched six goals to lead the Black Team. In the end, it was good to see some old friends and hit the ice! See you next year!

Senior defenseman, Nick Watson became Trumbull's "All-Time Defensive Scorer" with a four point outing against Norwalk High School. It was fitting that the mark was set on an evening in which the Eagles recognized their senior class. Watson entered the season with forty-four career points and added another twenty six points to finish the 2006-2007 season. His career total of seventy points (GP74 G24 A46 Pts70), surpasses Ryan Criscuolo ('06) who held the mark with sixty-five career points (GP62 G37 A28 Pts65).
Nick has played a big part in the many successes of the Trumbull ice hockey program over the past four seasons. Not only a top performer on the ice, Watson has been one of the finest leaders to ever wear a Trumbull uniform.
The THS seniors lead the way on "Senior Night" as the Eagles beat Norwalk 6-4. Matt Christoffersen landed two goals and assist, Nick Watson scored once and added three assists, Nick Davidson contributed with a goal and an assist and Dan Miressi notched an assist. Trumbull's only other senior, Charlie McGill, was sidelined with an injury.
Sophomore, Derek Dimasi had a goal and an assist and freshman, Johnny Pritts scored his first of the year.
Trumbull's freshman class is really coming into its own. Talented forwards Johnny Pritts, Andy Kelly and Michael Madden have steadily improved as the season has progressed. All three are bright, hardworking, strong skaters and can handle the puck. The trio is joined by defenseman, Dale Elbert who has shown great composure along with excellent puck handling and passing skills. Adjusting to the size and speed of high school hockey, they have become more and more effective for the Eagles. Trumbull will rely on all four first year players as they close out the season and expect big things in the future.
