The Jets won the Varsity Championship by beating the Brunswick Browns 14-0 and raising their record to 7-1. Their only loss of the season was to the Browns in the season opener, they evened that up this afernoon in Brunswick. The Jets kids worked hard all season in practice and games and it paid off for them. They now hold the edge in the All Time Series 10-8 over the Browns. This is the 3rd Championship for the Jets and Head Coach Steve Watkins, who passed former Jags Head Coach Lee Mercer who has two. Jets At Rush For A Cause At Brecksville In August

Posted by Dave Rea at Oct 20, 2012 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
Buckeye Youth Football participated in 'Rush For A Cause' at Brecksville High School on August 18th, 2002. The foundation raises money who have gotten spinal cord injuries while participating in sports. Their annual event is based around scrimmages between area youth football teams. This year we took the Varsity and JV Jets and Jaguars to the event and donated $200.00 to the cause. Even though the teams were not evenly matched we did have a good showing on that Saturday.

If you would like to see more pictures from the scrimmage click on the 'Varsity Pics' tab in the menu and you can flip threw the album of the Varsity scrimmaging at Brecksville.
