The start of our Spring 2003 season has begun. Starting at 9am on Feb. 15th the fields at 20th Street Community Park were once again filled with approximately 1000 youth players throughout the day. The CYSL board is looking forward to another great season and will be available at the gazebos on the fields. We encourage all parents to stop by and say hi.

In order to keep an organization as large as CYSL going it is necessary to hold fundraisers and we need everyone's cooperation. It requires much more money than we take in at registration to operate our program to rent, maintain and repair the fields, to purchase equipment and uniforms, insurance, referees, scholarships and much more. This season we are offering the players the opportunity to pay an ADDITIONAL $25 to the regular registration fee instead of participating in the fundraiser. This fee will be due at the time of registration. Any player who opts not to pay this fee will be required to participate in the fundraiser by selling 6 coupon books. All books must be sold. No returns will be accepted.

Nov. 14-18th, Monday-Friday, 1:00PM-5:00PM @ CARD Saturday, Nov. 19th 10AM-2PM @ Fit One Athletic Club CYSL Spring 2006 registration will be taken at the CARD Community Center, 545 Vallombrosa Avenue on Monday through Friday and at Fit One Athletic Club, Skyway and Notre Dame Blvd, on Saturday. ***All participants NEW to CYSL must present birth verification. After registration week, registration packets will be available at the following locations: Fit One Athletic Club, North Valley Soccer, Play It Again Sports, Team Sports, ReMax, downloadable on line and at the CARD office or by calling 894-1088. Keep in mind, every child that signs up during registration week will be guaranteed placement on a team. Those who sign up after registration week will be accepted as long as space is available on a team in the appropriate age division but may be placed on a waiting list and not assigned to a team until after the first game.

This year there are 120 teams. The CYSL board is looking forward to another great season and will be available at the gazebos on the fields. We encourage all parents to stop by and say hi.
