After an outstanding rookie season a year ago, Hagen has continued to improve, seemingly picking up where he left off last season. He has secured a top 7 finish in each of his four races in 2011, and in his most recent run, he pulled off an impressive 19:03, just missing out on reaching the 18s for the first time in his career.

Cole steadily improved during her freshman season last fall and eventually finished the slate in the state meet lineup. She hasn’t missed the varsity at all this season, cruising to the top 7 in all four races. Her 23:16 on Wednesday at Woodbridge marked her career-best time as she approached 22s for the first time.
