News and Announcements
Hi Swim Families,
We hope you enjoyed the rest of the summer and hope everyone is having a great school year so far. Thank you for a fantastic swim season! At the beginning of the season, the coaches came up with goals for the team.
The goals were:
- By the Champs meet, 75% of our swimmers will improve their times from the first meet.
- Our team will score in the top 5 at Champs.
- We will do this by encouraging our swimmers at practice, coaching them on strokes, providing feedback, cheering for each other at meets, and creating a fun atmosphere.
We are pleased to say that 100% of our swimmers improved their times from the first meet to the last and we placed 3rd at Champs! This is an amazing accomplishment and we are so proud of our dedicated coaches and hardworking swimmers. Thank you to everyone for all you’ve done to make the season successful.
The 2023 Champs meet will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, so you can plan accordingly. We would like to have all swimmers participate. The tentative start date for practice is Tuesday, May 30, 2023. We will get the schedule out to you as soon as it is completed. If you have any questions, please let us know! Also, if your swimmer would like to keep swimming throughout the year see below for some information about Swim United, which is a great program to develop swim techniques while having fun and meeting new friends.
