Maximum Athletic Performance at Binghamton University

 

Maximum Athletic Performance at Binghamton University is a program for boys and girls aged 13 to 18 geared to improve overall athletic ability.

 

Attendees will be trained in strength training, core strength, flexibility, and agility/speed drills.

 

Sessions run this Spring/Summer from May 16th until August 18th, and this Winter from December through February.

PEE WEE AA JR. SENATORS!

 
The Binghamton Jr. Senators Pee Wee State Bound (AA) team won the President's Day Tournament, in Philadelphia, PA, February 13-15th, 2016!
 
The Jr. Sens went 5-0 for the tourney, winning all three round-robin games, and beating the NJ Rockets 7-2 in the semi-finals, and then taking a 3-1 decision over the Exton Kings in the championship game!  
 
In their last two tournaments, the Jr. Sens have compiled a 10-0 record while competing in AA divisions.

Binghamton Pond Hockey Festival

BINGHAMTON POND HOCKEY FESTIVAL

 

From 12-1pm on Sunday February 21st, 2016 STHA players are welcome to come out to the Binghamton Pond Hockey Tournament (http://www.bingpondfest.com) to skate on the ponds at Chenango Valley State Park.

 

This event will be weather-dependent, so please visit the tournament website at the link above for daily updates on ice conditions.

 

This will be a great event, so let's all wish for some cold weather!

Travel Coach Applications

2016-2017 Travel Coach Applications

 

The STHA is now accepting travel coach applications for the 2016-2017 season. The STHA Board of Directors will select one head coach for each of the following age divisions/levels.

 

Mite A

Mite B

Squirt A

Squirt B

Peewee State Bound

Peewee Non-State Bound

Bantam State Bound

Bantam Non-State Bound

Midget 16U State Bound

Midget 18U State Bound

Midget 16U/18U Non-State Bound

 

Complete the STHA coaching application and send to Patrick Basile, VP of Travel Operations.

 

Applications must be received by Monday March 7th.

 

Applicants names will be posted to the STHA website for a period of 7 days (after the 21 day submission period), after

which the Board will meet and select coaches for each age level.

 

This year the STHA will look at a possible Travel C team, please indicate if you are interested in coaching this team on your application. Please refer to Travel Policy for C team.

SQA Jamestown Champs

CONGRATULATIONS

SQUIRT A JR. SENATORS!

 
The Binghamton Jr. Senators SQA team spent President's Day weekend in Jamestown, NY playing in the Mid Winter Classic Tournament. After a slow start on Saturday night resulting in a 3-3 tie against the hometown favorites the Jamestown-Sanders Lakers, the team came back Sunday taking all 5 available points in their next 2 games putting them number 1 in the division with 12 1/2 total points. They beat the Hamburg Hawks 5-2 and the Butler Valley Dawgs with an impressive 10-0 victory. The championship game was set for Monday at 9:15 and would feature a rematch between the Jr. Senators and the hometown favorites. The team came prepared and was victorious in a 3-1 win!!
