Pee Wee Selects Win Big Thaw

CONGRATULATIONS

PEE WEE SELECTS!

 
The Peewee Select team won the Big Thaw Tournament championship in Rochester, NY over the weekend of March 11-13.
 
The Selects were down 1-0 and scored with under a minute remaining to tie the game and send it into overtime. The Selects then scored three minutes into the five minute sudden death overtime to secure the championship. Congratulations to the Peewee Select team for a fantastic tournament.

Zabadal Wins 16U House Championship

ZABADAL PLUMBING (16U)!

 
The Zabadal Plumbing  team won the 16U House Championship, taking the title game 4-2 and going 4-0 in the playoffs!

Bantam State Bound headed to States

BANTAM STATE BOUND JR. SENATORS

HEADED TO STATES !

 

Congratulations go out the Bantam State Bound Binghamton Jr. Senators, who competed in the 14U Tier II Sectionals (Central Section) this past weekend in Lysander, and earned second seed in the tournament to punch their ticket to the State Tournament! 

The Bantam SB Jr. Sens  beat Center State 6-0, lost a tight one against Syracuse 4-3, and defeated Camillus 2-1 in their last game to earn the nod.  

 They will now head to the State Tournament being held in Amherst & Buffalo, NY the weekend of March 18-20th, 2016. 

 Congratulations and good luck Bantam SB Jr. Senators!!

2016-2017 Travel Team Head Coaching Candidates

    2016-2017 TRAVEL TEAM

HEAD COACHING CANDIDATES

 

Below is the listing of individuals who have submitted their Letter of Intent and application for the position of Head Coach for one or more of the STHA's travel teams for the 2016-2017 season.
 
Per the STHA Travel Policy, a period of seven (7) days will now be provided to the STHA membership to submit letters of recommendation or other for the potential travel Head Coaches. At the conclusion of the period of recommendation letters or other, the Travel Coaches Selection Committee (defined in the STHA Travel Policy) shall have no more than seven (7) days to complete the selection process.
 
Once the Travel Coaches Selection Committee has completed the selection process, the selections shall be presented to the Board of Directors, all potential Head Coaches shall be notified of the selections, and the Head Coaching selections posted to the STHA website.
 
Letters of recommendation or other must be submitted to Patrick Basile, with a courtesy copy to Kevin Calabrese, no later than 5pm ET on Monday March 14th, 2016.

Bantam Selects Win Snowbelt JAM

CONGRATULATIONS

BANTAM SELECTS!

 
The Bantam Selects team won their Snowbelt JAM Tournament, held in Baldwinsville, NY Feb 26-28th, 2016!
 
In the round-robin, Bantam selects lost their first game to Mohawk Valley, but rebounded with two wins against Thousand Islands (7-1) and Center State (8-4), earning themselves a spot in the Championship game. In a rematch with Mohawk Valley, the Selects were able to take the title with an 8-4 victory!
