    2016-2017 MITE C TRAVEL TEAM

HEAD COACHING CANDIDATES

 

Below is the listing of individuals who have submitted their Letter of Intent and application for the position of Head Coach for the Mite C travel team for the 2016-2017 season.

 

Per the STHA Travel Policy, a period of seven (7) days will now be provided to the STHA membership to submit letters of recommendation or other for the potential travel Head Coaches. At the conclusion of the period of recommendation letters or other, the Travel Coaches Selection Committee (defined in the STHA Travel Policy) shall have no more than seven (7) days to complete the selection process.

 

Once the Travel Coaches Selection Committee has completed the selection process, the selections shall be presented to the Board of Directors, all potential Head Coaches shall be notified of the selections, and the Head Coaching selections posted to the STHA website.

 

Letters of recommendation or other must be submitted to Patrick Basile, with a courtesy copy to Kevin Calabrese, no later than 5pm ET on Thursday May 19th, 2016.

LETTERS OF INTENT 

The STHA has received Letters of Intent for open seats on the Board of Directors from the following members (in alphabetical order):

There will be (4) 3-year positions available.  

Voting by the STHA Membership will take place at the Annual Meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at The Relief Pitcher, Binghamton, NY.  Prior to voting, each candidate will have the opportunity to address the current Board and the Membership in attendance to introduce themselves, and to talk about their interest in running &  how they could benefit the STHA as a Board member. 

2016-2017 TRAVEL TEAM ROSTERS

 

The 2016-2017 Travel Team Rosters have been posted on the Travel Information page. 

 

The Mite C roster was posted May 10th, and is now available on the Travel Information page.  The process for coach selection is continuing, and the head coach will be announced once a decision has been made.  

 

The 18U NSB roster was posted on May 4th, and is now available on the Travel Information page.    The 18U NSB team is still looking for a few additional skaters.  Anyone interested should contact Head Coach Ed McGrady (captpfd@msn.com) and the VP of Travel, Pat Basile (pbasile18@gmail.com). 

 

Per the STHA Travel Policy, each player shall have thirty (30) days from the posting of the rosters to accept their roster position by submitting a completed and signed NYSAHA Commitment Form. If a player does not accept their roster position within the allotted period, their roster position will be provided to the next qualified player from the tryouts.

 We would like to thank all the players who tried out. As expected, the coaches had to make some difficult decisions. We wish all the players good luck in the upcoming season. We hope they work hard and have successful seasons.

 

The STHA Board of Directors is looking into the possibility of fielding an additional Pee Wee Non-State Bound travel team for 2016-2017.   Once a decision is made it will be posted as soon as possible.

2015-2016 MONTHLY SCHEDULES

       TRAVEL ROSTER POSTING 

Thank you to all of the players, parents, coaches, and independent evaluators for helping to make the travel team tryouts run so smoothly over the past two weekends!   

Per the Travel policy, the 2016-2017 Travel team rosters will be posted to the STHA website no later than 11:59PM on Sunday, May 1st.

 

Travel team coaches are reminded that they are not to inform any player of his/her selection to a travel team until the VP of Travel has issued the final approved roster.
