HOOVER GOES 3 and 1 IN CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT WINNING OVER ELYRIA CATHOLIC 7-3

VIKINGS END TOURNAMENT WITH 7-3 VICTORY OVER ELYRIA CATHOLIC

The Vikings closed out the CVCA Christmas Tournament with a commanding 7-3 win over Elyria Catholic last night.  Korey Davis was tough in the net against a talented and physical Elyria Catholic squad, stopping some very hard and very well placed shots on his net.

Brad Harcourt earned a hattrick, burying the puck for the first two goals of the game and scoring again early in the second period.  Sam Hankins, assisted by Spencer Mackert, continued the scoring, with subsequent goals by Zach Lawson from Harcourt and John Derosiers, Alex Zielke from Ben Bishop, and Dylan Oney from Brad Harcourt and Zach Lawson.  The three wins were particularly impressive, given the victories were against teams in the White Division of the Greater Cleveland Hockey League.
