GIRLS SWEEP, BOYS SPLIT TO CLOSE OUT REGULAR SEASON
Alexis Groce and Hannah Uebele went 1-2 with their home course bests as the girls closed out their regular season with an 11-1 record, scoring decisive wins against Sussex Tech and Cape Henlopen Wednesday. Groce and her senior teammates put together a streak of 42 wins to just 4 losses over their four-year career.
Meanwhile, the boys, led by Henry Phalen's course-best of 17:07, edged out Cape Henlopen, 27-28 and slipped to Sussex Tech to finish the season at 10-2. The senior boys closed out a stretch of 43-5 over their four years.
Overall, Natalia Hernandez and Molly Fulton ran career-best times, while 23 boys and 10 girls ran their fastest Milford Millponds time ever.
