The boys & girls each added two more wins against Indian River and Sussex Central on Wednesday; both teams improved to 9-1 on the season.

For the girls, Alexis Groce led the way with a 19:38, while Hannah Uebele, Lydia Cole, Janin Rodriguez, Taylor Hoey, Natalia Hernandez and Morgan Fitzgerald-Lorah rounded out the varsity seven.  Emily Marconi added a season-best time.

For the boys, Henry Phalen, James Hagen, Trevor Maloney and Andrew Eshelman took the top 4 places, followed by Brandon Munce, Jeremy Morgan and Jeremy Harper to round out the varsity pack. Shane Feightner, Cory Morris, Dante George, Mitch Yoka, Dylan Schleigh and Eric Nielson added career-best times.

SMASHING TIMES AT BRECKNOCK!

Overall, 41 Bucs smashed career-bests on a cool, speedy day at Brecknock Wednesday. The girls, led by Alexis Groce (19:21 - 1 second off school record), topped Smyrna, 23-36, but lost a VERY close one to CR, 25-31. Meanwhile the boys put 1-2-3 on Smyrna, but fell to CR. Each team moved to 7-1 on the season.

Trevor Maloney (17:20), James Hagen (17:34), Brandon Munce (17:50), Kelsey Cabrera (20:41), Hannah Uebele (20:50), Amy Wilson (21:00), Lydia Cole (21:19) & Janin Rodriguez (21:40) each ran onto or moved up on all-time school record lists.

Mia Fabres-Parker rounded out the varsity girls, while Jeremy Morgan, Chandler Benson-Reid, Wesley Wilkins and Frank Clendening closed out the boys' top seven.
