On December 12-13, the Chapin Eagles, lead by First Place finisher Austin “Jeffy” Jeffords, wrestled tenaciously in a field of 18 teams to finish fourth, one point behind Dutch Fork. Chapin finished highest of the 3A teams in the tournament and recorded 33 wins in the two-day event.

Individual accomplishments were highlighted by Jeffords’ First place finish plus 3 Second Place and 2 Fourth Place finishes.

The Eagles resume dual match play on Tuesday, December 16 against Airport and Lexington at Airport High School followed by a December 17 regional match against A.C. Flora and Camden at A.C. Flora High School.
