LESSON LEARNED

Posted by Paul Gio at Mar 27, 2010 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
We learned last season we have to stay focused and win games against weaker teams. Nice start to the season as we go 2 for 2 with a huge 7-2 victory that had 2 set piece goals (Stone and Felbs) as well as 2 breakaway goals by Jed and Superman from a direct head ball flick from Stone. we dominated, looked good with our white strips and played great. hope everyone is ok. Job well done.

CHIPPY GAME ENDS WITH NO RESULT

Posted by Paul Gio at Mar 23, 2010 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
Playing a young chippy Wally Dukes last night, FC held their own and after 40 minutes nothing was settled. Everytime WD's took the lead, FC came roaring back. Crop, Superman and a late goal by one of our Vets, Torch provided the 3-3 tie. Good keeping by Felbs as well. Nice !!!!!!!

NEW STRIPS

Posted by Paul Gio at Mar 21, 2010 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

FC opened up with defending champs West Chester Militia. With their brand new strip FC completely dominated the game and new signing Jed popped the goal that we needed for a 1-0 opening day victory. The game was one sided and not even a contest. Highlander provided FC with a Phil Brown halftime lashing. He didn't like that FC allowed 2 shots on Calamity. Great game, if Stone did not impersonate Becks and miss 6 open nets the game would of been a laughter.

WOODWORK AND THEIR KEEPER

Posted by Paul Gio at Mar 16, 2010 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
Were the stars last night, as both kept FC off the board to kiss your sister game with a 4-4 tie. FC started out slow 3-1 down and came roaring back only to have a stellar keeper and an outstanding woodwork take the points away. Great job lads!!!!
