Bonnie Harkenrider, who has done a superb job as Registrar is leaving this year and we will need 3-4 people to fill her shoes. These positions must be filled and soon or else our Little League will be in big, big trouble! The major responsibilities include - Forms and Mailers Registration and sign-up Post office (picking up daily and processing and returning incomplete forms) Telephone and email inquiries Rosterbook formatting Rating/ranking record keeping Obviously, the team will have to be very organized and somewhat familiar with using computers especially spreadsheet and database applications such as Microsoft Excel, Filemaker Pro or Microsoft Access. This is a place where people can post notices of items lost and found. Note that most of our fields have lost & found bins. Most are at the snack stands and our volunteers are happy to help you look for your items. One exception is that Dorsey's lost & found is at the Live Oak Tennis Court reservation office. MBMS/Begg lost &found is at the Premier snack stand. If you find a lost item it's often a good idea to just leave it where you found it. The owner might come back right away and pick it up. Taking it to lost & found is good too. The worst thing to do is take the item home with the intention of trying to find the owner eventually. With that method the owner has no idea where the item is and most likely you'll end up carrying the item around for the rest of your kid's Little League career. Note that only teams with each player selling at least 20 raffle tickets receive Snack Stand Bucks. If your team qualified, the bucks will be attached to your team t-shirt/sweatshirt order form which can be found inside your labeled team bag. You need to know the league and team name when you pick up your pictures and t-shirts/sweatshirts. For t-shirt and sweatshirt discrepancies, please contact April at ambeuds@earthlink.net .
