Except for our high school hardball league (Seniors), registration is closed. Unless your player is on a waiting list due to late registration, you should have been contacted by your team manager by now. Our preseason games have started. Until the Memorial Day Weekend Tournaments, it's just "Play Ball!"

The weather was great, the popsicles were cold and the speeches were short. What more could you ask from Opening Day? Possibly more kids from International League marching, I guess. Click on the picture below to see all our 2005 Opening Day pictures. Congratulations to our raffle winners! $50.00 winner - John & Leighann Odle $125 winner - M. Special thanks from the league this week go to Steve Radl. He recently hired a crew to paint the brick backboard and the storage shed at Premier. THANKS STEVE! Martin Ensbury Fields Work Day Coordinator
The drafts have started, so depending on your player's age, he or she may have to be put on a wait list. Boys 13&14 registration ends 2/14. No waiting... No hassles... and you will save $10/child! Register now at this fully secure site! New to MBLL? No problem. Go ahead and register and just present your player's birth certificate or passport to our registrar, Denise Winner, at dwinner@winnersquared.com . Note that your player must be within the age range 5-14 as of 7/31/2005. Ages 5-12 must either live in Manhattan Beach, attend a Manhattan Beach school, be the child of a Manhattan Beach City or MBUSD employee or have played a prior MBLL spring season. The residency requirements for 13 &14 year olds is less restrictive. South Bay (El Segundo to Palos Verdes) residency is good enough for 13-14 year olds. P.S. You may want to lookup your kid's physician's address and phone number first. Both are required on the online form.image
