In prior years there has not been a sufficient number of softball players available for, or interested in, a summer softball league. We are, once again, exploring this possibility. We are currently gauging the level of interest among our softball players. If there is sufficient interest, we will organize and form leagues that will offer two games a week, with no practices, from around mid-July to the end of August. Please let Steve Salem know if you are interested in playing. He can be reached at: salem.mll@verizon.net If there is enough interest among our players to allow us to offer a program, and it is possible that this may apply to all age groups or just some of our age groups, we will be opening registration for the summer program in a few weeks. MLL Closing Ceremonies take place on Saturday, June 16 at Marine East immediately following the Coast Division Championship game (start time is 9:30am.) Trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place teams in the upper divisions and All Star Teams will be announced. Please join us for the anticipated start time somewhere between 11:30am - noon to conclude the season or, better yet, come by early to watch the final game of the 9-10 year old boys in Coast Division. The International Division Championship game will be played at Live Oak and the Major Hardball Division Championship game will be played at Premier, both starting at 9am on Saturday, June 16th.
