Timmy Lynch Pitches Perfect Game

Timmy Lynch faced the minimum of 18 Allies batters on Saturday at Wilson Park and set down every one of them in route to his first no hitter and perfect game, as well as a Dave’s Marketplace 6-0 victory over Allies Tack and Feed. Lynch pitched a total of 64 pitches and struck out 11 over 6 innings. Key defensive plays by Ryan Gwaltney and Zach Sullivan late in the game protected the perfect game. Dave’s offensive attack was led by Chris Guenev with a triple and a double, Timmy Lynch with a double and 3 RBI, and Mark Rogers who hit his second HR of the year. Nicholas Garland pitched the first five innings for Allies and pitched very well. Dave’s Marketplace is now 14-2 and clinched the first seed in the upcoming playoffs.
