Spring 2004 Soccer Registration Registration for the spring 2004 session will take place on Saturday, Oct. 18th and Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2003 from 9AM until 3PM at the soccer fields. BASA requests that parents sign-up their children as early as possible for the spring soccer season. Picnic RSVP Forms Due B.A.S.A. has scheduled a picnic & trophy presentations for Saturday, October 25th beginning at 3:30pm at the South Beaver Park. Your child’s coach passed out an RSVP form & flyer last Saturday. Please complete & return only the RSVP form to the concession stand today! Please keep the flyer that is attached to the RSVP form because it contains valuable picnic details. Trophies will only be awarded at the picnic! Look at Web Site For Weather Cancellations Any time B.A.S.A. has to cancel games or skills practice it will be posted as soon as possible on the web site. So if you are questioning whether the Saturday games will take place please look at our web at: : www.eteamz.com/basa Soccer Community Night On Monday, Oct. 13th at 7pm BASA players and Coaches have been invited to the Blackhawk High School Soccer Field to participate in the Soccer Community Night. Coaches and players will be recognized and participate in the festivities of the evening. The evening starts off at 6pm with the Girl’s Varsity team hosting the Beaver County Christian School. At the conclusion of the girls game (between 7:00-7:30) the Soccer Booster will begin to recognize the Senior players from the varsity teams and will then recognize the teams from B.A.S.A. The Boys Varsity Soccer game will follow and they too will host the Beaver County Christian School. The concession stand will be open and serving hot foods, and drinks, there will be a 50/50 raffle and the Boosters will be selling soccer t-shirts and sweat shirts. B.A.S.A. players should wear their uniforms (green side out). Soccer Spirit Day To further promote the sport of soccer in our local community, B.A.S.A. is asking all in-house and travel team players to wear their soccer jerseys, in-house players wear green side out and travel players wear their green jersey, to school on Monday, Oct. 13th, 2003. The soccer club thanks every player for their continued interest and dedication to the sport of soccer. Skills Practice!! On Monday, Oct. 6 at 6pm BASA will be sponsoring the last Skills Practice for the fall session which is provided by Girish Thakar and staff at the Highland Middle School Fields. Weather Permitting!! We will also have an “EsTeam” presentation by Chris Miranda for coaches and parents. This presentation is about teaching good sportsmanship The practice is free and open to all BASA players and will be held “in-addition to” regularly scheduled team practices. All BASA Coaches are encouraged to attend. There will still be 3 age groups:U6, U8, U10&U13. Weather permitting there will be sign up sheets to the right of the concession stand. Correction To Newsletter 9-20-03

It was stated in the Sept. 20th newsletter that on Mon. Sept at the Skills Practice that an "Esteam" Presentation would be presented for coaches and players when in fact it is for coaches and parents. I am sorry for this error. Coaches and parents please stay for the presentation if at all possible! Thank You!
