LBA WINTER WORKOUT PROGRAM AT PLAYBALL IN NASHUA
Play Ball Nashua, located at 9 Congress Street Nashua, NH is a state of the art 13,000 square foot facility offering professionally staffed clinics/camps, private and group lessons, memberships, cage rentals, video analysis and a fully stocked pro shop. Play Ball brings its excellent reputation and proven 8 year track record of player development and quality programs to Nashua as an expansion of its successful facility in Salem, NH. Play Ball’s staff is second to none in the area.
Our staff consists of former and current pro players and college stars:
- Dean Borrelli, Owner, 8 year pro catcher for Oakland A’s/Texas Rangers
- Billy Mottram, General Manager, Chicago Cubs former player with 5 years professional experience as an infielder and outfielder
- Al Mottram, Arizona Diamondbacks cather/infielder and 5 year pro player
- Dave Wendt, current Tampa Bay Devil Rays Player
- Doug Johnson, Colorado Rockies Pitcher, 5 year pro
- TJ Sheedy, UMaine All-American player and coach
- Jill Gagnon, All American pitcher/hitter at Merrimac College, current UMASS Boston coach
This program will help the athletes prepare for the upcoming season by working on all the skills needed for aspiring baseball players. Throwing, fielding, hitting, positional play and all other key areas will be covered.
- This year's program will be a progressive approach to teaching the players. Each week will progress with different advanced drills and skills
- Featured guest speaker" will discuss a "topic of the week" (hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, mental approach, sportsmanship, base running etc...).
- The ballplayers will run through various drill stations, working on the skills needed to become an effective baseball player.

- Ages 6-12 Sundays: January 13th to March 17th
- Times: 12pm-1:30pm

Play Ball announces new catching program!
We are excited to offer our customers the best professional catching staff in New England. Owner Dean Borrelli (8 year pro catcher Oakland A's/Texas Rangers), Al Mottram (5 year pro catcher Arizona Diamondbacks), Dave Wendt (current pro catcher with Tampa Bay Rays) and Ronnie Rosario (New Mexico State catcher) will team up to provide unmatched pro training to our customers.
Stance, receiving, blocking, throwing and general catcher's fielding will be highlighted.
Speed, Agility and Strength Program
Play Ball's Speed, Agility and Strength Clinic is based on training methods used by the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks.
Speed work will include agility ladders, hurdles, and running techniques. The strength portion of the clinic will involve work with medicine balls for core and explosive strength. This clinic will also focus on arm strengthening through arm bands and body weight exercises.
Play Ball Hitting League
Play Ball is introducing it's early winter hitting league. Form your team of 3 and have a blast.
Fall and Winter Clinics
Play Ball's fall and winter clinics are ready to go. Hitting, pitching, rookie skills, baseball skills, softball skills, softball hitting and softball pitching are all featured.
