Less than 1% of our registrants have trouble filling out our online registration forms. The problem is usually due to a firewall at work and when they try at home all is well. If you are having trouble registering online, stop by the -

Residence Inn by Marriott
1700 N. Sepulveda, just north of Manhattan Toyota.
Two Saturdays, Dec. 1 and 8 from 11 AM to 2 PM

Parking is limited, so if you park at Target, make sure that you buy something there. We will be at the Residence Inn to answer questions and help you register.

Also, if you are new to MBLL, go ahead and register online now, but swing by and bring your player's passport or birth certificate as well as proof of residence. Date of birth proof must be a document issued by a US federal, state or protectorate government. Hospital certificates will not work. To prove residence, you will need to bring three (3) documents of different types. Typically, people bring a driver's license, a utility bill and vehicle registration or school records. The 16 different types of documents accepted are listed at LittleLeague.org.

Michael Locke's Condition Improving

Posted by Dennis Kane at Sep 9, 2007 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

MBLL player Michael Locke, age 12, was struck by a car on August 27 while riding his bike home from the beach. He was wearing his helmet and the doctors say that it saved his life. He spent almost a month in critical condition on a ventilator at Harbor UCLA Hospital in Torrance California. About the third week in September, he awoke from his coma and makes progress daily. He cannot accept visitors at this time. His family is very supportive, and close by his side at all times. The doctors are optimistic about his recovery, but it will take much time.

For more information about Michael and an update on his condition, please visit his websites at:

http://caringbridge.org/visit/michaellocke where you may also leave a message in his guestbook.

If you wish to make a donation to help the family pay for Michael's care, please visit http://www.MichaelBeStrong.org.  (Please avoid the "Make a donation" link on the Caring Bridge site.  Those donations help only caringbridge.com, not the Locke family.)

Benefit Lunch: Please join us for a special pre-opening lunch event on 11/18 at the new Mucho Ultima Mexicana restaurant in Manhattan Beach, California in order to raise funds for Michael’s much-needed rehad and other costs. This benefit is made possible through the gracious and generous contribution by restaurateurs, Mike and Andrea Zislis, owners of the Shade Hotel amd ROCK’N FISH restaurant.  For more information and to make a reservation, please visit http://www.MichaelBeStrong.org.

If you have access to any baseball items (autographed baseballs, team jerseys...) that might help cheer up Michael when he wakes up, please contact David White at david@davidjwhite.com.
