City of Leesburg Cheerleading Activity Number: 121302 Ages: 6-13 years old Location: TBA Practice Starts:Oct. 13,2006 Games: Mondays & Wednesdays RegistrationJune 1st - June 30 Fee: $25.00 Non-resident: $40.00 The fundamentals of cheerleading will be taught by city staff and Leesburg HS Cheerleaders. We will have two squad leagues this year, Junior (ages 9-11) and Prep (ages 12-13). Girls will be divided into squads depending on the number of football teams that coincide with their age groups. Cheerleaders will learn cheers, stunting, half time dance, team camaraderie, and spirit. Cheerleaders will be cheering for the basketball program. Practice will commence on either Mondays or Wednesdays for 2 hours depending on the team they are assigned. The Season will last for about 2 months.
