1. - Lucas Clark was awarded the Most Valuable Player award in the Victoria Icehawks (C3) 4-3 victory over the Saanich Braves (C2) in game 1 of the VMHA Peewee New Year’s Classic Tournament 2016. And for good reason. Lucas turned back wave after wave of Braves attack until midway through the contest. After being beaten 3 times in 2 minutes, Lucas slammed the door and did not allow another goal. Time and time again, he frustrated Brave shooters, who were left shaking their heads on the way back to their bench.

Not just a nice guy, Tomi is player we can always count on! With great speed and game sense Tomi is all over the ice shutting down the apposing team time after time. You give it your all every game and this is a well deserved award Tomi.

For never giving up! Thank you for your dedication and determination. We are so lucky to have such a focused goalie.

Holly had dazzling moves in Saturday’s game. Holly stole the puck multiple times and made some beautiful passes. She was all over the ice with determination which help keep the game so close. Well done Holly.
