Tomorrow kicks off our swim meets!

This weeks meets are:
Tuesday, June 8, 2021- 11 and Up
Home meet
4:45 pm Arrival time for swimmers; 5:00 warm-ups
6:00 pm Meet begins

Thursday, June 10, 2021- 10 and under
Away Meet- Meadowood
5:00 pm Arrival time for swimmers; 5:30 warm-ups
6:00 pm Meet begins

Barracuda Coaches will be wearing red, white, blue tie-dye shirts, so you can find them easily.

This year will look a little different, not only in the number of swimmers since we are split but also with the awards. There will be NO awards this year after each meet. Times will be collected and overall awards will be given out at the end of the season. When we made this decision, Covid-19 restrictions were still in place and we were timing to minimize germs since many hands would touch the awards and many hands were in the awards bin. Heat winner ribbons will be handed out at meets for each heat winner.

Concessions – We will have concessions at our home meets, however, no fresh food will be available. Drinks and prepackaged snacks and candy will be available for purchase! This is a fundraiser for our team so we hope you enjoy a snack or cold beverage at the meet! Some teams will not have food.

What to bring:
Towel
Sharpie marker – for the swimmer to write events on their hand
Cap (we will have these for purchase at the concession stand for those who need one)
Sweatshirt/Sweatpants (swimmers like to wear warm clothes after they swim).
