The Cougars make a strong showing fresh off spring break as Megan Van Hofwegen had a season PR in a 400 win and another PR in the 200. Freshman Domoneek Staten PR'd in a second place finish to All-State sprinter Tiffany Foley, who once trained with Coach Mo. Coach Tichenor's distance team had another great outing. Thomas Ness, Albert Bell and Brant Frazee swept the 1600. Ness also won the 3200. Frazee won the 800. The distance group also won the 4x800, posting the state's #2 time. On the sprint side, Matt Kredit continued to improve his status as one of the state's top hurdlers and Jordan Mitchell is emerging as an heor apparent to the Cougar sprint legacy, just in time for the return of Danny Lazarri. Phoenix Christian Invitational Boys Results

Thomas Ness, Brant Frazee, and Paul Bell all placed in the top 10 in the boys 1600 and Frazee placed 5th in the 800 to lead the Cougars effort at the Phoenix Christian Invtitational. Ness also took 3rd in the 3200 behind two "Sub" 10 minute runners. Aaron Skile had a season PR in the 110s, Alex Anderson asserted himself in the low hurdles and Mark Robinson placed 10th in the 400.image

The Lady Cougars were led by Megan Van Hofwegen, Domoneek Staten and Kristen Shook as the tiny contegent did well as the girls team seeks to field it's best group in 5 years. VanHofwagen placed 4th in the 400 and 6th in the 200. Freshman Staten was 6th in the 100, 7th in the 200. Shook was 11th in the 800.image

Matt Kredit placed high in the hurdles, 100 meters and long jump (19 feet in his first outing) to help pace the boys. Kristen Shook led the girls with her efforts in the 1600 and 800 meter runs.
