Several MAPA members and families attended the Edenton race this past weekend. A great time was had by all, the weather was great, and there was a music festival and food & other vendors on the park green. Thanks to everyone for the great turnout at the Lynnhaven Race. Lynnhaven River 2007 Challenge raised $624.90 for the Lynnhaven River 2007 non-profit organization. Milliken Mills Visa Endurance shirts with the Lynnhaven River 2007 logo are on sale at Wild River Outfitters for $20. All proceeds benefit Lynnhaven River 2007. We had 26 participants in the long race and 6 folks paddling in the fun paddle. Kyle McLain finished first with an great time of 1:02:19. Special thanks to Ric and Susie for all their hard work in making the 2nd annual Lynnhaven Race a great success.
