Lauren Fernandez-Miller (Village c/o 2015), and starter on the women’s Volleyball team at The University of St. Thomas, was named “Setter of the Week” for the Red River Conference.

“Fernandez-Miller set up the Celts’ offense with 59 assists in a 2-1 week. The sophomore setter averaged 6.6 assists per set and posted a high of 25 assists in a sweep of Langston University (Okla.). Fernandez-Miller also chipped in 28 digs and three service aces. The Houston native is currently second in the RRAC in total assists (311) and third in the RRAC in assists per set (4.9). The Celts lead the conference at 3-0 in league play and 9-9 on the season.” (Redriverconference.com)
