Proctor - Deadly Beasts

Good practice yesterday everybody…See you all at MBMS no later than 11:30 for tomorrow’s game against Neil Sevy’s team…remember what we worked on:
our halfcourt offense – pass and go away and setting picks down low

boxing out

concentrating on free throws

making good bounce passes and not showing the other team where we’re passing the ball

See you all tomorrow!

Guys-
I just wanted to tell you how proud I was of the way you all played on Saturday…Without really practicing together we played really hard, played good defense and I was particularly impressed with how you guys battled back to make it a game in the closing seconds. Although we missed Roy, Reese made some great baskets, Jeff played tough defense, Alex scored a big basket, Will nailed a three pointer to get us close, Max was a tenacious rebounder and Tyler was a defensive stud, shutting down their point guard. Keep up the great work guys and remember, "pass and run away"! If we box out on defense, double team the other team’s star, and set picks so that we can take close shots, we can play with anybody. See you all at practice on Thursday – 5pm at Live Oak…Also, let me know your uniform numbers so I can add them to the site. Roy, you’re #6.
