This Saturday's game is now at 12pm
Hey everybody, for those of you who are going to be at the game on Saturday (hopefully everybody except for Roy and Tyler), our gametime has been changed to 12pm. Could everyone please be there at 11:30 particularly since we will only have five players for the game…See you all at practice tomorrow…

Great job guys! You all played great and what an overtime! I’m really proud of the improvement you guys have made in the last few weeks.
A reminder that we have pictures at 8:45 at Mira Costa gym tomorrow morning.
Next week we’ll be a bit shorthanded as Tyler and Roy are going to be out of town so rest up, you’ll be running alot!
Let me know if you can’t be at Mira Costa gym on Sunday…

Way to go guys!
Yesterday the boys played great. Your defense was outstanding led by Tyler and Max on their point guard and Alex and Jeff down low while Reese, Roy and Will led the offensive charge. I thought you guys really played a great team game together after a slow start. We got the ball to teammates and everyone really contributed to the win. Here’s what I thought each player’s best facet was:
Roy – really got the offense going by driving to the basket and putting up good shots. Great rebounding too.
Will – dominated offensively down low and did a great job getting rebounds and blocking shots with good help defense.
Max- played great defensively shutting down Motor. Always plays tenaciously on D.
Tyler – also played great defensively stopping Motor from getting easy shots. He is becoming our defensive stopper.
Jeff – made a great shot at the end of the game! He battled on the boards and worked hard on both ends of the court.
Alex – played great defense on a very good player throughout the game shutting him down. He didn’t let him out of his sight and helped keep their shooting percentage down.
Reese – is becoming a rebounding and shooting star. He’s constantly making the other team’s defense work hard by driving to the basket and getting good position for easy put back shots.
I’m really proud of the improvement that you guys have shown in the last couple of weeks. Each one of you has progressed a lot and I like our team a lot! Keep working together as a team, encouraging our teammates and hustling and we’ll have a lot of success.
See you all at practice on Thursday at 5. Let me know if anyone is going to miss either the practice or the game on Saturday…Thanks,
