WESTERN REGION UMPIRE ALUMNI IS GROWING!
The Western Region Little League Umpire Alumni Association (WRLLUAA) Board of Directors met recently and voted to change the bylaws. It is now possible for any umpire who umpired any Western Region Tournament, baseball or softball, to become a member of the association. Alumni Association Set to Grow
As we near another great Little League season the Western Region Little League Umpire Alumni Association (WRLLUAA) has some exciting news.
I would first like to thank each and every one of you who have made donations or support the Alumni Association. With your assistance we will continue to improve the umpiring experience for all Western Region Volunteer Umpires.
At the most recent annual meeting the WRLLUAA voted to expand it's membership and open it's doors to ANY volunteer Little League Umpire who has umpired a Regional tournament at any level of baseball and softball. While this was always the ultimate goal, the membership as well as the elected Board of Directors for the Alumni Association now believe, after two years in existence, that the time is right to honor and recognize each volunteer Regional Little League umpire.
This of course does not just happen. We are asking for your assistance to help us identify and get the word out to all those in your Districts and Sections who might qualify for this inclusion. While there are some records, due to the volume of umpires and the different sites of different tournaments we are asking you to assist in getting the word out.
Applications for membership to the Alumni Association can be found on the Western Region Website as can a more formal announcement of this expansion. We thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide in identifying those that qualify.

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION FOR LITTLE LEAGUE WESTERN REGION UMPIRES

WESTERN REGION LITTLE LEAGUE
UMPIRE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
With the approval of both Little League and the Western Regional Headquarters we are pleased to announce the formation of the Western Region Little League Umpire Alumni Association (WRLLUAA).
This Association was created by umpires solely for umpires at the Western Regional facility in San Bernardino, CA. All monies donated and collected will be used exclusively for the improvement of the training facility for umpires at the Western Region as well as other items determined to better the experience for all umpires who attend training or are honored to be selected to umpire at the Western Region Little League Baseball Tournament in San Bernardino, California.
All of the funds collected will be separated from all other funds within the Western Region and will be spent pursuant to determinations made by the Board of Directors established by the membership of the WRLLUAA. All donations are tax deductible. Membership is open to all those who have had the honor of umpiring at any Regional Tournament in the Western Region. Donations are also welcome and appreciated. Initial response has been overwhelming. The first membership meeting took place on August 13, 2005 in San Bernardino, California. At that meeting, members were elected to the Board of Directors. Regional Clinic Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received 10 business days prior to the start of the clinic or seminar. All cancellations must be received in writing via email at WestRegion@LittleLeague.org or by faxing the request to (909) 887-6135.
