When asked what makes a great team tick nothing is more important to an Offensive Coach than having a Great O' Line. Quarterback Timmy Chang broke many of the NCAA Records this season and much of that credit rests with Timmy but just as much can be credited to the Warriors Offensive Front. They do a super job. We went straight to the source at the U of H to discuss the Line and what Hawaii QB Coach Dan Morrison had to say about Coach Brian Derby's skills and abilites. Here is what Coach Dan had to say:
Dear Coach Dirk,
I would be more than happy to recommend Brian for your clinic. Brian is probably one of the best technicians with the Offensive Line that I know. He has dedicated his life to getting better and better at teaching his craft. His skills, particularly with Pass Pro, are as good as anyone you can have speak to your coaches and Players. He is a very hands on type of coach and will help anyone interested in learning to become a better coach or player. He is tireless with his time and will spend whatever time people want to answer all questions and go over all techniques.
