Nationals are next
The Chicks have had a very successful Summer except for all the rain. We start Nationals in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday versus NY Diamond Girls. We are sporting a 17-2-1 record for the Summer, we should have more ball under our belts but rain shortened 2 of our tournaments and nearly a 3rd last week in Rock Hill. I expect big things in Nationals this week, lots of good teams and the forecast looks dry. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. See you Wednesday at the Beach. GO CHICKS !!!

Chicks finish 2nd in Fall Classic
The Chicks got much better weather this week and went on to finish 2nd in Fall Classic and going 4-1 for the weekend. It was a successful weekend that came up one run short in ITB. I was proud of our young ladies because they battled to the end. We still have much to work on but not a bad showing for our first time out this fall. On to the USA Fall State Championship in a couple weeks. Let’s keep working hard on getting better every time out. I will get stats posted soon. See you at practice next Sunday. GO CHICKS !!!
Chicks ready to start Fall in Roanoke (rained out)
The Chicks are getting ready for our Fall Season this weekend in Roanoke, VA in the USA Heartland Showcase. I’m looking for big things from this team and improvement every time out.

Sept. 17-18 – Starz Gold Fall Classic – Richmond, VA
Oct. 1-2 – USA Fall States – Richmond, VA
Oct. 16 – Round Robin Friendly – University of Lynchburg
Oct. 22-23 – Showcase Showdown – Virginia Beach, VA
Oct. 29-30 – USA College Exposure Showcase – Powhatan, VA
Chicks finish Fall in Style
The Chicks went on the road to Va. Beach for the USA Champions Cup and put on quite a show winning 4 games on Sunday and claiming our second Championship in a row. What a great way to finish the Fall, already looking forward to next Summer. We had some great games on both days. We lost the first game of the tournament on Saturday 5-4 and getting the tying run thrown out at the plate to end the game. We also won an 2 ITB game in the semi finals 12-10. We also beat the Stats National team 4-2 getting 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to break a 2-2 tie. I was really proud of our girls to come together short handed and finish the season so strong.
