Hoover Vikings

Saturday night belonged to the Vikings as they ran over the Garfield Bulldogs in an 8:30 game at Dan Kostel Arena in Parma.  Every Viking got ice time and contributed to this win, including Matt Zulewski in net with 4 saves.  Sophomore Mike Magana and Senior Bradley Harcourt had hatricks while Sophomore Kyle Policicchio had 2 goals.  Others scoring for the Vikings were Zach Lawson, John Derosiers, and Ben Bishop.  Assists were earned by Dylan Oney (2), Harcourt (4), Alec Weber, Sam Hankins (2), Nathan Murphy and Ben Bishop.

The team faces off against the CVCA Royals today at 3:30 in what has become a non-division rivalry. The Vikings then travel back to Parma on Monday morning for an 8:30 game against Holy Name JV.  If the team advances to the finals, the championship will be played on Wednesday evening at Michael Ries Arena.  GO VIKES!!!!
