Coaches, Parents and Players,

HLV Ice Hockey Club is now registering players for the 2017 Fall Season.

Players attending Holy Cross, Lenape, Rancocas Valley and Seneca High School, in grades 9-12 this Fall, are eligible to play HLV.

Our goal is to register players and organize the teams prior to summer. There is a mandatory On-Ice Player Assessment on June 6th from 8-9pm at the Igloo. The purpose of this assessment is for the coaches to evaluate the players on the ice and select the Varsity and JV teams.

Attached are the registration fees and forms. In addition to the attached 5 forms, please provide a copy of player’s Birth Certificate and USA Hockey Registration. A copy of player’s school schedule will be necessary come late summer.

The $350.00 deposit and ALL registration forms are due by June 6th. You can bring the fee and forms to the On-Ice Assessment or mail to the Po Box prior to June 6th.

Welcome Parents and Middle School Ice Hockey Players,

HLV Ice Hockey Club would like to put a Middle School team on the ice for Fall 2017/18 Season.

HLV is a High School hockey club that accepts players from Holy Cross, Lenape, RV and Senaca High Schools. This season we would like to develop a Middle School team for young players that will eventually participate in the High School program.

If you are receiving this email, your son or daughter is eligible to play for HLV Ice Hockey. The player must be in 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade this coming Fall.

At this point, there are few details for the upcoming season. Voorhees Skate Zone will layout the details early summer. However, we need to know prior to that time if we have enough players.

Here are the details that we do know…. It will be a 20 game season( plus playoffs) that will go from September to March. Games are generally on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. There will be approximately 16-18 practices throughout the season.The fee will be approximately $1,050 (plus jerseys) based on the final number of players.

We understand if you are part of a travel team, it is difficult to plan without a firm schedule. However, this is ice hockey and somehow it all works out in the end!

Hello Coaches and Parents,

HLV will hold our next monthly meeting on Tuesday May 16th 8:00pm at Igloo.
There will be nominations for 2 Board positions, Fundraising Chair and Publicity Director. So far, Joe Mohnacs has been nominated for Fundraising and Sharon Stoor has been nominated for Publicity Director. The floor will be open for any other nominations.
Fall season will be discussed. Preliminary dates for the mandatory on-ice Coach Assessments will be determined.
There is interest in having a Middle School team this Fall. We will need anyone interested in the Middle School team to be present at the meeting.

Spring Schedule Posted in Varsity calendar 4/20/2017

Welcome All Players and Parents,

HLV Ice Hockey is now registering players for the 2017 Spring League. Any player who is currently in 8th, 9th,10th & 11th grade is eligible to play this Spring. HLV will have a Varsity and JVB team this Spring.

The Spring League has not released details, start dates or schedules. The only information at this time is the season will be 10 games with 1 practice. Games should start late April and end in June. Games are generally played Monday-Thursdays, in the evening, at the Voorhees Skate Zone. An occasional Sunday may be scheduled. We anticipate final details 2-3 week of April.

It will be a quick start to the season once details are released. For this reason, we need to be prepared and ready to go. Deadline for Registration is March 31st, 2017. This is a firm deadline. All Forms and Fees are due no later than March 31st.
