Girls and Parents,

I have been getting several solicitations for tourneys, so I thought I would pick a few. Let me know which options you like.

Mahtomedi Soccer Assoc. Tourney: May 15-17

NESA Tourney (in Maplewood): June 12-14

Father Hennepin: June 12-14

Hudson Tourney: June 19-21

Plymouth Soccer Assoc. Tourney: June 19-21

District Tourney: July 16-20 (this is free, so we will do this one regardless!)

USA Cup: July 21-25 (yes that is during the week, but this tourney is amazing! I even played in this when I was a youth player!)

I think that we should pick 2 tourneys other than the Mahtomedi and District tourneys. Let me know what you all think!

Hey Ladies! Soccer is just around the corner!

I am sorry for the initial email that you received. The website sent out invitations for practice every day of the week! That is not correct. We will be practicing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Our game days are Monday and Wednesday. We need to wait for the fields to be opened by the community, but I have signed up for Monday, April 13th, as our first practice!

Also, I need a new parent manager! Please respond if you are interested!

I will follow this announcement up with a list of the new players this year. Hopefully, some of you know them and can get me emails and/or pass this info on ASAP. Again, welcome back to another season of the Beautiful Game!

Checking to see if any of the girls are interested in some late fall training at the Stillwater Dome.

During Spring 2008, the U13 C3 Girl’s team was offered additional Coerver-like training through MYSA. I received great feedback from my daughter and others who participated.

Official Coerver training is being offered at St Croix Dome on Sunday’s 5-6:30 pm. 11/9-12/21/08.

Cost is $150. There is a $15 discount for team sessions.

I’m checking to see if there is enough interest to qualify us for a team discount. Please let me knowif interested. If so, I’ll coordinate our team sign-up. Here is the link.

Secondly:
There is a Winter Session on Sundays @ Corner Kick that starts on Oct. 26 and goes thru Dec 21. The cost would depend upon the number of girls interested in playing. The team price is $925.

Lastly, I want the girls to think about putting a Futsal team together for the winter season. Futsal is a great skills-increasing game. The season wouldn’t start until January, but registration would close by Nov 30. Let me know! Great season girls, and I look forward to seeing you all throughout the year.

Sorry, ladies, but I held out until the very last minute. There is STILL lightning striking, so practice is cancelled! I will see you all at the HIGH SCHOOL fields on Thursday!

Hey Everyone! Our 10/11 game has been rescheduled for this-coming Sunday, 9/28 @ 2pm. I will reiterate this at practice tonight.

Also, practice on Thursday will be held at the High School, NOT SWP Upper like usual. Again, I will let the girls know.
