2012 Team Takes Third in Prestigious Nike Music City Madness Tournament in Nashville
 
Congratulations to our 2012 team for finishing third in the prestigious NIKE Music City Madness Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee. Over 200 College scouts watched our girls finish with 5 wins and one painful loss in the Semifinals, losing at the end by a point after leading by 14 with four minutes to go. That team then went on to win the Championship. The girls  played hard as usual and we are very proud of all of them. Their season record is now 60 wins and 5 losses. Players and their paretns had a wonderful time in Nashville, visiting many local tourist attractions; including a stop at the NIKE outlet and line dancing at the world famous Wild Horse Dance Club!

Illinois Elite 2012 and 2014 Teams Have Fine showing at Nike Summer Showcase
 
Our 2012 team completed a sucessful Nike Summer Showcase competing in the Top Tier Orange National Division. The 2012 girls ended up in a tie for First Place in their National Division; and ultimately lost on that final day, Friday, at the buzzer. The 2012 team now has a season record of 55 wins and 4 losses playing against the very best level of AAU teams in the Nation. The four losses are by a total of 8 points. 52 of 55 wins have been by ten points or more.
Our 2014 team also did very well, ultimately also losing by one point at the buzzer to an Illinois Hustle 15U team which was two years older than them. They ran their season record to 47 wins and 7 losses.

Illinois Elite Players Named to USJN Premiere Invitational All Star Team 

Congratulations to the following players who were selected by the opposing coaches to the USJN Premeire Invitational All Tournament Team in Cincinnatti.

Illinois Elite 2012 Team Wins USJN Premiere Invitational In Cincinnati, Ohio
 
Congratulations to our 2012 team who won the United States Junior Nationals Premiere Invitational in Cincinatti, Ohio. The team played in the highest National Division and went undefeated in the tournament running off 8 straight wins against top tier National Level competition.  
The 2012 girls beat an extremely talented Michigan Crossover 17U team 55-45 in the Championship game. Only one of our victories was by less than ten points, a 53-50 victory in the semifinals against the Nike Sponsored Indiana Family team.
 
Our 2014 team played well also, making it to the Semifinal game of the 15U Division where they finally lost after a great showing in the tournament.
 
Our 2012 team now has a record of 50 wins and two losses; while our 2014 team has a record of 42 wins and 6 losses playing up two age levels in most tournaments.

2012 Illinois Elite Team Wins State of Illinois AAU 11th Grade Championship!

Congratulations to our 2012 Team for going undefeated (6-0) during the month of May over three separate weekends in the State of Illinois AAU Tournament;and being crowned State of Illinois 11th Grade AAU Champions! The Girls beat a good Illinois Hustle Red 16U Team 65-45 to capture the State Championship on Sunday, May 29,2011. No opposing team came within less than 20 points of our 2012 Team during the entire State Tournament!! Opponents from many solid programs were defeated on the way to the Championship victory over the Illinois Hustle. Included among them were victories over solid programs like Chicago Hoops Express I and the Illinois Wolverines Elite Team. The six State Tournament victories represented an impressive performance against many Top Tier programs that some Illinois AAU observers commented they had not  witnessed for quite some time.

We are proud of all of our fine players on the AAU State Champion 2012 Team.

Thank you very much to former Illinois Elite stars like Katlyn Payne, Taylor Skala and Susan Hohenadel for attending the State Championshp game. Thanks also to Haley Gorecki, Ellie Harmeyer, Hannah Harmeyer, Olivia Linebarger,and Ashley Montanez from our 2014 Team for attending the Championship Game. We were overwhelmed by all the loyal Illinois Elite fans who were there. When past players, current players and players on our younger team all hugged after the Championship victory, it was a very proud moment for the closeness of our Illinois Elite family!

 The 2012 Team now has a season record of 40 wins and 2 losses with both losses coming to Nationally ranked Teams!
