Tigers selected as pre-season #3 in Nation

The Katy Tigers have been named as the Number 3 team in the first National Poll by Easton Sports as reported in Collegiate Baseball.
The Tigers are joined in the top 30 by three other Texas teams:
Klein Collins at Number 15;   The Woodlands at Number 18; and Corpus Christi Moody (who the Tigers defeated in last year's State Semi-finals) at Number 28.  Congratulations to the 2007 Tigers!

Bret Atwood, Aaron Daab, Michael Fuda, and Carter Jurica have been named to the pre-season all greater Houston area team by Houston 5A Baseball.   In addition, Mo Wiley from Mayde Creek and Russell Lafleur from Morton Ranch were also selected as District 18-5A was very well-represented in the pre-season honor.  The announced team, as seen at the Houston 5A website, was as follows:

The 2007 Katy Tigers have been selected as the Number One Team in the 5A state-wide pre-season poll by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association.   The Houston area was strongly represented in the poll as 4 of the top 5 teams (Katy, Klein Collins, The Woodlands, Langham Creek) were from this area, and 9 of the top 25 teams were from the greater Houston area.
