Below are answers to some common questions:

Why are skills assessments so early?
Teams like to start practices as early as possible (usually mid to late April), which of course depends a lot on the weather. It takes approximately three weeks to organize the teams (manager, coach, and player selections) and order sufficient number of shirts, hats, balls, etc.

When will games begin?
Games typically begin first week of May. Some divisions could start earlier; however, this will be up to each division coordinator. Game schedules cannot be confirmed until the number of teams that will be playing this year is known, which is another reason for early skills assessments. When to exact dates of each game is known, the LBA calendar will be updated, so check it often in April.

Will baseball games conflict with soccer or lacrosse?

No. LBA arranges regularly scheduled games so that the games will not conflict with other sports.

My child is on a travel baseball team, can my child play town ball?
Yes. LBA arranges regularly schedled games to not conflict with travel baseball games.
