Interested in a Travel Program? Sachem Little League is affiliated with The Ronkonkoma Youth Organization, where your child can participate in a higher level of competition from spring throughout the fall.

RYO offers travel programs for both baseball and softball to children from 8 through 18 years of age.

Please consider volunteering your time.

Sachem Little League, like many other little leagues, consists of volunteers. Unfortunately, in most cases, volunteers move on as their children outgrow little league.

In order to improve and continue to provide a safe and positive experience for our children, we will always need volunteer help from responsible members of our community.

There are various ways that you can help.

• Assist at Field Day.
• Become a coach, or manager.
• Become a Team Mom.
• Attend Board Meetings, and share your thoughts, at the VFW Hall in Ronkonkoma, 8:00 PM on the first Monday of the month.
• Volunteer for an Appointed Board Position.

Do not underestimate what a few spare hours a month can do to help our children.

Missed, or can't make the walk-in dates? Don't worry, Sachem Little League has joined forces with "Active.com" to provide secure and easy "online registration". For a convenience and processing fee, ($1.25 + 6.75%) toward each registration. you can register your child securely online.  To help offset this added expense that you will incur, we have arrangedfor an 6.75% discount upon checkout for your additional children.

Please understand companies that offer online registration do not provide their services for free. Online companies offer various ways to collect fees. 

In our case with active.com Sachem Little League has three options.

1. Hiding the fee by adding it to our initial registration cost.
2. Split the cost.
3. Keep the additional convenience and processing fees separate from Sachem Little Leagues registration fee.

Sachem Little League felt the best option was to choose option 3.  Thus, leaving the choice of paying for the convenience and processing up to you.

Realizing paying on average (6.75% + $1.25) for every registrant can add up for families registering more than one child, Sachem LL has arranged to have an 6.75% discount applied upon checkout for siblings.  In order to receive this discount, you must register all your children at the same time.

Sachem Little League does not receive any additional money from active.com, but the added fee does allow us take advantage of the various administrative services that they provide us. Wich in turn greatly assists our ability to to run your little league more effectively.

 If you experience any problems registering online please try the following;

1. Make sure all required fields are filled out.
2. Make sure phone numbers are entered in the correct format. Example; 123-456-7890
3. Try clearing out your cookies within your web browser.
4. Try clearing out your browsers cache.

If you still experience a problem registering, you should call Active.com Support at 1-877-228-4881 .. They can quickly assist you over the phone.

Sign up for the new and improved Sachem Little League Girls Softball!

Sachem Little League has completed a very successful 2012 season.  This year the girls softball program doubled in size.  The girls fashioned college replica uniforms to create the real softball atmosphere.  Each division inter-leagued with other Little League teams from Patchogue, Sayville, Bayport, Central Islip, Bellport and Oakdale to name a few.  The girls experienced a new team each time they played.  No more playing the same three teams over and over.  The girls really enjoyed the experience of traveling to other fields and playing other teams.  It was a great success and I look forward to an even better season in 2013.  Thank you all for your efforts.
