Player  Registration

 


Players living within the Niles Centerville Little League Boundaries can now submit their registration applications for NCLL's 2011 season. The regular season opens on March 12, 2011.  Registration can be done in person or by mail.

Each player will need the following documentation on file:

  • Player Application (click here to download application)
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copies of 3 different documents to establish residency (see Acceptable Proof below)

Please note that anyone who has contact with the players is required to fill out a volunteer application and pass a backgroud check.  Anyone volunteering in the Snack Shack is also required to fill out a volunteer application.  We encourage all parents and guardians to submit their volunteer applications at the time of registration or before the season begins so that you are cleared and screened in advance of volunteer time.

ACCEPTABLE PROOF
OF RESIDENCY

In the ongoing process to ensure that players are playing in the leagues they're supposed to be, Little League Baseball is requiring that families provide 3 separate and distinct type of documents to prove residency along with a copy of the birth certificate.

The Little League Rulebook states, "Residence shall be established and supported by documents from THREE OR MORE of the following categories to determine residency of such parent(s) or guardian:"

1.   Driver's License
2.   Voter's Registration
3.   School Records
4.   Welfare/Child care records
5.   Federal Records
6.   State Records
7.   Local (municipal) records
8.   Support payment records
9.   Homeowner or tenant records
10. Utility bills (gas, electric, water, phone, cell phone, heating, waste disposal)**
11. Financial records
12. Insurance documents
13. Medical records
14. Military records
15. Internet, cable or satellite records
16. Vehicle records

** Note: Three utility bills (No. 10) constitute only ONE type of document.

Chevy's Fresh Mex Fundraiser

This all day dining event is a great way to support our league while enjoying a great meal with family and friends.  Whether you dine-in or order to-go, simply present the Chevy's fundraising flyer to your server and Chevy's will donate 25% of the proceeds back to NCLL (alcoholic beverages excluded). 

Remember that you must present the Chevy's Fundraising Flyer to your server in order for NCLL to be credited for your meal.  Feel free to pass the flyer along to all your friends and family members so NCLL can get credit for their meals too.

Hit-A-Thon & Picture Day
Sunday, May 16, 2010

The Hit-A-Thon fundraising event makes it possible for NCLL to supply uniforms, equipment, and maintain the leagues beautiful playing fields.  This event will be held immediately following team pictures on Sunday, May 16, 2010.  Please note that each player is required to obtain a minimum of $30 in pledges.

Prizes will be awarded in each division to the player who raises the most money and to the player with the longest hit.  A grand prize will be awarded to the overall player that raises the most money for NCLL.  All prizes will be awarded at the closing ceremonies.

Casino Night
Saturday, May 1, 2010
6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

This annual FUNraiser event is open to all NCLL families and friends who are at least 21 years of age and are looking to have a great night out.  You'll enjoy an evening of gambling, music, food and beverages while helping raise money for the league.  All those participating will have an opportunity to win one (or more) of the many creative Team Raffle Baskets.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, May 1st from 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM at the Niles Veterans' Hall.  Contact your team parent to purchase tickets.  Tickets are on sale now through April 24th for $35.  You can also purchase your tickets at the door on the day of the event for $40.

    Players living within the Niles Centerville Little League Boundaries will soon be eligible to register for the upcoming season. The regular season opens March 7th 2015.



     Each player is required to submit the following documentation before they will be allowed on the field:

    • Player Application (click here to download application)
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Copies of 3 separate and distinct type of documents to prove residency dated after February 1, 2014 (see Acceptable Proof below)
