Spagna Meet Dominated by Lakeland

The Lakeland boys won their 3rd straight Spagna League Meet AA title. Lakeland picked up wins from the 4x800 relay composed of Cyril Babcanec, Mark Arzie, Nick Setta, and Nathan Morgan and their 4x400 relay where Babcanec and Arzie teamed with Collin Cooper and Garth Estadt to set a new meet record of 3:25.65. The girls team also captured the championship. Cassidy Jenkins remained undefeated in the meet by sweeping the hurdle races and gaining a silver in the 100 and running anchor on the 4x400. Brooke Estadt broke a meet record in the triple jump and was also part of the winning relay. Corah Krantz and Madison harding filled out the rest of the relay.

Varsity Programs again Capture Jordan's

3rd straight Jordan Relays win for the Boys. Started off with 1st in the DMR (Mark Arzie, Caleb Morgan, Dan Brown, and Nathan Morgan), ten 2nd in 4x1 (Tyler Schwartzstrauber, Collin Cooper, Cy Babcanec, Garth Estadt), then the same 4 (Schwartzstrauber, Cooper, Babcanec, Estadt) won the 1200 meter medley. The team of Arzie, Nick Setta, Mike Arzie, and Nathan Morgan won the 4x800 and the team of Estadt, Schwartzstrauber, Tyler Paulino and Babcanec picked up a 2nd in the 1600 meter medley. To cap off the night the team of Collin Cooper, Mark Arzie, Garth Estadt and Nathan Morgan set a new record in the 4x400 setting a new mark and state leading 3:24.18 breaking the previous mark of 3:25.0 set by Lakeland Alums Dave Machiesky, Travis Pregnar, Tim Toolan, and Tony Prudente.
