RIPON CYCLONES BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

The Ripon Cyclones are seeking players, managers and coaches that are looking for an option to experience more competitive baseball and softball opportunities than a traditional league offers. We are looking for managers and coaches that are committed to developing our young Ripon baseball and softball players as people, as students and as athletes.  Our mission is to help our athletes develop a life-long skill set through a structured forum both on and off the baseball field. Our foundation is based on education (our athletes will be asked to maintain a minimum GPA to participate), teamwork, goodwill, developing relationships, hard work, and ethics. The athletes will learn to respect the game, work hard, and to play the game the right way.

What does it mean to be a part of the program?

You will become part of a program that will foster a tradition of hard work and pride, and one that offers outstanding benefits and opportunities for growth.

Special RC Clinics all year with Professional baseball & conditioning education
-Full fundraising package to help defray cost
-Quality Coaching with goal oriented, age specific training sessions
-All teams will follow the American Medical Sports Institutes guidelines for pitch  counts and types by age group
-The baseball teams in the10U-14U divisions will participate in a competitive -      league (Rainbow Fields, Modesto or Mistlin, Ripon, CA) and tournament  play  (mostly in Manteca, Ripon, Ceres, etc.), facing some of the best teams from the  Valley and Bay Area – 30 to 40 games over the spring & early summer. The softball  teams will compete in tournament play in the valley.
The 2010 program will field baseball teams in the 10U, 12U, 13U, 14U, JV and Varsity Baseball Divisions (age as of 4/30/10) and softball teams in the 9/10U and 11/12U. We would like to include every child that is interested in the program but it is important to understand that this is a competitive program and our coaching staff will only select players they feel can thrive in a highly competitive environment. All players are put through an evaluation process before each team is formed. Teams will carry no more than 12 players. We are only accepting applications from coaches and players that live in the community of Ripon. To learn more call our hot-line 485-9191 or e-mail riponcyclones@yahoo.com.  You can register online or registration forms can be downloaded from our website (under forms).  Mail completed registration forms to: Ripon Cyclones ATTN: Player Agent, 229 Kristen Way, Ripon CA 95366.
