Welcome to the home of Ripon Cyclones Baseball/Softball. The Cyclones program is committed to developing our young men and women as people, as students and as athletes. Players are developing life long skill sets through a structured forum both on and off the field. A foundation based on education, physical education, teamwork, goodwill, developing relationships, hard work, and ethics is developed and encouraged.

PHILOSOPHIES:  Baseball and softball at this level is merely a tool to help our athletes’ better deal with the obstacles they will endure in the future.  It teaches how to be determined, motivated and how to achieve.  It’s the only sport that if successful 30% of time, you’re considered a class above all others.  What this means is, there is a 70% failure rate!!!!!  It’s our opinion that if your child is able to succeed in a game that presents more obstacles than most tasks, then he/she is more likely to be able to deal and overcome the many obstacles life has in store in the near future.

COACHING:   Our coaches are dedicated to developing every player.  They work hard to develop not only the skills to compete at a high level but more-important they teach the life lessons brought out through sports.

Our program encourages excellence developed and executed every day on and off the field. Our director of coaching and staff develops a cohesive practice and game standards for each age level. Our athletes are asked to maintain a minimum GPA to participate.

Phrases like “You gotta get that ball” are not a part of our staff's vocabulary because it does not teach the athlete to be successful.

PITCHING: All teams follow the standards set by the ASMI for pitch counts and types for all tournaments, practices and practice games. Our coaches focus on Pitch Type, Pitch Count, and Pitching Mechanics when training our athletes.

We teach them properly, set high standards, and constantly evaluate progress.

We encourage you to visit the "questions and answers" section located in the My Site News section to see if this competitive baseball program is right for your family.
