York County wins State Senior Baseball Championship 9-8 over Lynchburg

In the championship game at Fleet Park, Lynchburg came from behind to tie the game at 8-8 only to lose 9-8 in the bottom of the 7th inning. York County finished with a record of 5-0 in the tournament, and advances to the Southern Regionals starting August 6th in Toccoa, Georgia. Lynchburg won five games in a row in the loser's bracket, eliminating five other teams in the process, and finished 2nd in the State with a record of 6-2.
