Hartland Swept by Wyandotte Roosevelt
Ypsilanti- The Eagles were swept in a doubleheader at Eastern Michigan University’s Oestrike Stadium. “I thought, overall, defensively, we did a nice job,” Hartland Coach Brian Morrison said. “In the second game we started to string some hits together. We walked too many, put too many runners in scoring position and they had some big two-out hits that scored some runs.” In the first game, Dalton Sitzler was 3-for-3 and Alex Vydick was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Hartland (1-2). In the nightcap, Brett Oliver was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, while Chris Stokes’ two-run single keyed a five-run fifth. He finished with two hits and three RBI’s.
