Lackawanna Lightning

Lackawanna Lightning was formed in the Fall of 2005.   This team is designed to offer girls the opportunity to experience softball on a more competitive level against teams throughout the state of PA, NY, NJ, MD, and VA area, the mid-Atlantic region, and possibly the nation. This team's program will be committed to provide girls with the opportunity to experience softball in an atmosphere that encourages and promotes teamwork, friendship, and good sportsmanship.

Lackawanna Lightning is pleased to announce a new 14U team is forming and will be competing during the 2012 - 2013 season. 

We are a well established organization that will play a very competitive schedule.   14U team plans to play in 1-2 Fall tournaments, In-door practice during Winter and early Spring, and 4-5 tournaments in the Summer of 2013.

Lackawanna Lightning Softball is establishing a new 14U Fastpitch Softball travel team for the 2012 - 2013 season. Tryouts will be held Thursday, August 23 (Registration is @ 6pm, Tryout starts @ 6:30pm) and Saturday, August 25 (Registration is @ 6pm, Tryout starts @ 6:30pm). Tryouts will be @ Sherwood Park, Dunmore, PA. advances to ASA Eastern National "A" Championships in York, PA Aug 3 -7  or  ASA Eastern National "B" Championships in Canton, OH July 25 - 29 
4 Game Guarantee -- Entry fee: $425, deadline May 26

Teams must be ASA registered.
