News and Announcements

After both teams suffered opening game losses to Maple Grove, the Falcons put it together for home opening victories.

 10th grade-

The Sophomores played a great team game topping the Spartans 48-26.

9th Grade-

The Freshman showed more energy beating Hill Murray 58-17.

The first game of the season is always an interesting game as you have teams that are on the floor for the first time with new talent, new energy and a bundle of nervousness and anxiousness brewing from a long off-season.  The Falcons took the court ready to battle the Crimson and looking to get the season off on the right foot.

Behind the 19 points, 6 steals of Nicole Dooher and the 12 point, 18 rebound effort of Amanda Viehauser the Falcons flew to victory in game one of an exciting season.  The game was a little sloppy as both teams were plagued with many touch fouls but the Falcons hit clutch free-throws, highlighted by Viehausers 8 for 8 night from the line.  The Loobecks, Kristi and Steph, showed good work in the paint and Alyssa Marshner had a solid 9 points, 6 assist night.

Nikki Brown and Alli Hoefer also gave the Falcons some great pop off the bench.

In the JV game the Falcons received a great team effort from the solid 6 they have.  They pulled out a 50-47 OT victory.

Next up for the Falcons will be Hill Murray in the home opener on Tomorrow. This game is Minnesota Lynx night so come on out and meet the Lynx and enjoy some exciting Falcon basketball.

On the road against Maple Grove and your home opener against Hill-Murray.  Week 1 is what it is, week 1.  Every team starts the season wondering what the whole year is going to bring, questions surface like; are we are good as they say we are?  How good are we going to play? Well remember this,  cautious is as cautious does, afraid is as afraid does, nervous is as nervous does but champions are as champions do.   Now lets go out there are show them that what we do...

Hard workers set the bar,
