Westford Over-30 Slow-Pitch Softball

There will be a Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday, April 10. It is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM at the 99.

The practice schedule preliminary to the 2007 season has been released. Click on the Calendar link to the left to access it. Opening Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 1st, with the feature game of the evening being a rematch between last year's Play off finalists- the Mustangs and Healy Oil. The season is scheduled to end on Friday, August 17, with the play offs beginning the following Sunday. Check the site regularly as the remainder of the schedule will be released shortly.

The first Board of Directors meeting has been scheduled for Monday, February 26. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM and will be held at the 99.

At the league meeting held on December 4, a new President and Vice President were elected to replace the outgoing officers. Chris Smith of Short Cut was elected President and John Hunter of Willis Tent was elected Vice President. A new Treasurer is being sought to replace Chris. Nominations can be made to the League Secretary. In addition, the board voted to expand the league qualification requirement for entry into the draft for the upcoming season. In 2007, residents of Westford as well as those who work full time for a Westford business are now eligible to play in the league. The league rules and bylaws reflecting this change will be presented at the first spring meeting.
