Beaver County United Coed Softball League

Since the games had to be canceled yesterday we will be mailing a refund check for the games not played. Managers if you can please reply to just me with your address. The check will be made out to you personally and mailed. The total per game refund is $24, $14 for the umpire fee ($28 split between 2 teams playing) and $10 for field cost ($20 split between 2 teams playing).

For playoffs we are taking the top 8 teams based off of the website for the games that were played. All players for each team need 4 games to be eligible for playoffs. That’s based off of 45% of games played and always rounding down. Please make sure lineup cards are filled out for each game during playoffs. I will be emailing and posting the players eligible tomorrow. There was a tie for 7th place between Loose Bandits and Highland/Z Pub, since they never played each other I used runs against as the tie breaker. Below are the 8 teams who made playoffs and attached is the playoff bracket.

2. Ballbusters— 11 games played, $72 refund
3. S & B— 10 games played, $96 refund

6. Jr Emerick— 12 games played(1 forfeit against; total 11), $48 refund
7. Loose Bandits— 10 games played (1 forfeit against; total 9), $96 refund

P Dub’s— 11 games played, owes $56 for 2 forfeits from 10/14, $16 refund

The managers voted to play the rain out games from last weekend. Please see the attached updated schedule. For the October 14th 5:45 game on Field 3 (Diamond Ratz vs Highland/Zpub) if you are able to start early please do so since you might be fighting day light. If the game can’t be completed due to darkness we will schedule the continuation for 10/21 at 3:15 on Field 4.

Bat testing will be done this Sunday, September 30th from 2:00-3:00pm at the pavilion on field 4.

If you need bats tested please let me know by this Friday at the latest. I will set a time on Friday for this Sunday’s testing. Also players must have 6 games to be eligible for playoffs.
