Old Duluth East Nordic

Both the boys and girls team won their section 7 meet and will be advancing to the state meet on February 17 at Giants Ridge. After the Freestyle race in the morning the Boys team was ahead of Cloquet-Esko-Carlton by 11 points and at the end of the day they won by 29 points. Six of the East boys beat CECs third skier in the classic race. The girls team held a 9 point lead over Ely after the freestyle race. In the afternoon classic race the East girls added 24 points to the difference for a total of 33 point over Ely. All seven East girls finished ahead of Elys 4th finisher. Good work everyone!
